Douglas Lee "Doug" Rees, 53, of Rio Grande, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Ohio Health Grant Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. He was born October 11, 1971, son of the late Dwane Lee Rees and Connie Sue (Maynard) Rees. Doug was a fuel technician employed by Kokosing. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend to all who knew him.
Those left to cherish Doug's memory are his wife, Jennifer Rees, who he married February 23, 2010, in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and four children: Daniel (Tiffany) Rees, Constance Rees, Cheyenne Rees and Chase Nance; grandson, Denver Levi Rees; sister, Kellie (Jeff) Hammond; aunts and uncles: Dean (Amee) Rees, Dwight (Christi) Rees, Sharon Rees, Linda (Larry) Sturgill, Mary (Ralph) Young, Christine Cook, Nanci LeMaster, Patricia (Bryan) Jones, Danny (Bernie) Maynard and Greg (Marybelle) Maynard.
In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by a maternal grandparents Richard and Lillian Maynard, paternal grandparent
