Our beloved matriarch Rouie Anna (Cook) Logue, 81, of Lexington, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness Saturday morning, December 28th, 2024, at MedCentral Hospital Mansfield. Rouie was born April 5th,1943 in Floyd County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Willie and Irene (Johnson) Cook.
Rouie and her loving husband Denver L. Logue were married 55 years ago on September 21st, 1969. Denver and Rouie moved to Lexington, Ohio in 1976 where they raised a family.
Rouie was an outgoing person who never met a stranger. Melissa, her daughter, would joke about how Mom could go into a department store restroom and come out with a best friend, just through simple conversation with others. Rouie loved the Christmas season. She and Denver each year decorated their home inside and out with trees, figurines, wreaths, lights.
