Donald Earl Keeton, 76, of Vinton, Ohio went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 1, 2025, after suffering a long series of illnesses. He was born September 15, 1948, son of the late Stewart and Alice (Snyder) Keeton.
On January 1, 1970, Donald married the love of his life Loretta McCoy Keeton. Shortly after, he served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He also worked twenty-seven years as a long wall operator for Southeastern Ohio Coal Company, Mine #31, from which he retired. He was an active member of the Bethel Church of Christ in Hamden, Ohio.
In life, Donald was a selfless man who put the needs of others first. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him.
