Nancy Ann Marshall, 91, of Cheshire, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio. Born January 18, 1934, in Gallipolis, she was the daughter of the late Dowie and Bonnie (Glover) Williams.
Nancy grew up in a little house overlooking the Ohio River in Chambersburg. Her family's roots run deep in that part of the county, extending at least five generations before her. She deeply loved that little community and counted those neighbors as family all her life. She loved to travel and spend time with family and friends, many of whom she joined for weekly lunches at the Meigs County Senior Citizens Center. In her older years, she was affectionately known as "Aunt Nancy" to many in the community. You never knew what to expect when expecting a visit from Aunt Nancy, but you could be sure it would be entertaining. Her infectious smile and quick wit were a welcome distraction to mundane days.
