Charles E. "Chuck" Hampton, 79, of Patriot, Ohio passed away Monday, January 27, 2025, in St. Mary's Hospital, Huntington, West Virginia, following a lengthy illness. Chuck was born November 17, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio, son of the late Earl and Noreen (Robertson) Hampton.
A Vietnam Conflict Veteran, Chuck served in the Air Force, attaining the rank of Sergeant, from 1964 to 1968. He was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor at Woodland Centers for over twenty-four years and was a Special Deputy with the Gallia County Sheriff's Department. He was also a member of Centerville F & AM Lodge #371, Gallipolis Shrine Club and the Faith Baptist Chapel, Chesapeake, Ohio.
Chuck will be deeply missed by his wife, Teresa Stringer Hampton and his son, Christopher (Erica) Hampton, all of Patriot, Ohio; stepson, Josh (Julie Sayre) Preston, Gallipolis, Ohio; grandchildren: Christopher Brady (Julie) Hampton, Columbus Ohio; Kali (Keeli) Hampton, Chattanooga, Tennessee; Seth (Taylor) Carpenter a
