Joseph Freeling Jones, 89, of Bidwell, Ohio, passed away in the Holzer Medical Center, Pomeroy, Ohio Saturday, February 8, 2025. Born August 12, 1935 at Hanover, West Virginia, to the late Jim H. Jones and Aretta England Jones, Joe was a self-employed construction worker and began the group Saddles, Saddles, Saddles that boasts 22,000 members worldwide.
He married Sadie "Cookie" Browning on December 26. 1956, at Hampton, West Virginia and she survives with three daughters: Dianna (Darrell Boggess) Sargent, Debbie (Kenny Hagerman) Jones, and Joanne (Bill) Hughes. Also surviving are grandchildren: Dana and Tara Sargent, Nicole and Herb Clonch, Bret and Micah Hancock, Megan and James W. Sheets, Jordan and Samantha Deel; great grandchildren: Jayla Sargent, Zachary Hancock, Dejah Holland, Logan Hancock, Lucas Clonch,
