Billy Edward Harless, 71, of Wilkesville, Ohio went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Sunday, February 9, 2025. Born April 10, 1953 at Pomeroy, Ohio, he was the son of the late Earl Arnold and Garnet Mae (Davis) Harless.
He was a 1971 graduate of Meigs High School after which he spent his years as a diesel mechanic for B&L Motor Freight, Newark, Ohio and managing the shop in Huntington, West Virginia for Penske Truck Leasing.
Billy leaves behind his wife, Elizabeth (Simms) Harless, whom he married September 10, 2001; three children from his previous marriage: Heather Harless, Langsville, Ohio; Billy (Sandy) Harless, Jr., Pomeroy and Vanessa (Buel) Farley, Wilkesville, Ohio. Also left to cherish his memory are six grandchildren: Jacob (Brianna) Lambert and Brooklyn Harless, both of Paigeville, Ohio; Justin Allen, Wilkesville; Brad Harless, Pomeroy; Matthew (Olivia) Smith and Joseph Smith, both of Wilkesville and six great-grandchildren: Hadlee Lambert, Reece Davis, Py
