Polly Ann Johnston, 80, of Vinton, Ohio passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2025, in the emergency room of Holzer Medical Center, Jackson, Ohio. Polly was a faithful Christian woman, born November 7, 1944, to the late Curtis and Laurie (Marcum) Thorton at Hetzel, West Virginia. She attended many different churches throughout her life.
She leaves behind her husband of sixty-one years, Carl Johnston, whom she married August 12, 1963, and their children: Sherri Lynn Johnston, Carl (Joseph York) Johnston, Jr. and Crystal Johnston and grandchildren: Jacob Gibson, Matthew Gibson, Araya Gibson, Michelle Oakley, Timothy McCallister, Samantha (Brian) Black, Michaela (Benjamin) Wessellman and Meagan (Christian) Hillier as well as several great-grandchildren, extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Polly was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Johnston.
In accordance with Polly's wishes, there will be no funeral services. Cremation services are under the direction
