Frederick Edward Burdell, age 82, of Bidwell, Ohio, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Thursday, February 27, 2025, while in Holzer Medical Center. Born December 21, 1942, in Gallipolis, he was the son of the late Francis and Esta (Vollborn) Burdell.
Frederick is survived by his loving sister, Ernestine (Keith) Smith of Bidwell, Ohio. He is also survived by nieces and nephews: David (Teri) Burdell of Bidwell, Harold (Robin) Burdell of Gallipolis, Jill (Todd) Breyfogle of Bidwell, Brad Burdell of San Antonio, Texas and Carita (Jason) Montgomery of Crown City, Ohio. He also has many great nieces and nephews as well as some great-great-nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his loving caregivers Luther (Brenda) Hunt as well as a former employee, Luther (D.J.) Hunt, Jr.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Freida Burdell and brother, Lawrence Burdell.
Frederick was a 1960 graduate of Rio Grande High School. He then attended and graduated from Rio Grande Co
